Have you ever been to an Internet Marketing Event?
You might not think it’s necessary to go to an event, especially if you’re just starting out…or because you’re an affiliate marketer, but you couldn’t be further from the truth.
Going to an event can help you in many ways. First, depending on the event, you could end up with a lot of great ideas for ways to expand your business, or at least make more money with your business. For example, Blog World & New Media Expo has a ton of sessions, so no matter what you promote, you’ll be able to learn something…and most likely you’ll learn a lot more than just ‘something’.
Another reason to go to events is to see the exhibit halls. Most big events have these, and the Blog World Expo is no different. Why would you care about looking an an exhibit hall? You won’t believe how many companies are out there. I’m sure you haven’t heard about all of them…and even if you had, you couldn’t possibly know a lot about each one of them.
Walking through an exhibit hall lets you learn more about different companies. Maybe you’ll find a new product to promote. Maybe you’ll find a new product to use. You could even come up with a new idea for a website just by walking around seeing what types of companies there are.
Last, but definitely not least, is the people. There will be a lot of people just like you at these events. You’ll get a chance to talk to the speakers, as well as other attendees. You could probably learn a lot from people who are doing things similar to you. You might be able to get some of your questions answered. You might even end up doing business with some of the people you have conversations with!
I can’t tell you all the stories I’ve heard about big Internet Marketers who are friends because they met at an event, and now they help each other make money!
Now, I know that sometimes these events can be expensive, but Blog World Expo this year is not one of them.
You can get a ticket right now, to spend 3 full days at the conference, and attend all of the sessions for just $197. If you live in the NYC area, or it won’t cost you much to travel there, imagine how much you can learn and gain from that $197 you spend.
All I know, is that I’ll be there, and I’m really looking forward to going, for all of the reasons I mentioned above. I suggest you do the same, and don’t say to yourself “I’ll wait until I’m not a beginner, and am making more money online”, because this event (as well as others) will help you get to that point sooner!
