Affiliate marketing is when you get rewarded for bringing in a customer who in turn makes a purchase.

In other words, if you watched a movie and really enjoyed it, and then told your friend about it and he purchased the movie at your local Target, you wouldn’t get anything.

But if on the other hand you sent him a link that was set up just for you, and when your friend clicked on it, it brought your friend to the movie, and he purchased it online at Target, you would get a percentage of the sale!

How awesome is that?

So anytime someone uses your unique link to make a purchase at a store that you’re an affiliate of, you’ll earn a percentage of it.

You may be surprised at how many online stores have affiliate programs. Some of your favorite stores even have them, such as Macy’s, Target, Walmart, Amazon, and more.
