More Places to Put Your Affiliate Links

Where Else Can You Promote Your Affiliate Links?

Are you active in any forums?

If so, depending on their rules, you may be able to put an affiliate link in your signature. It’s great if you’re promoting something similar to the type of forum you’re on.

For example, if you’re on a scrapbooking forum talking about what stores you like to shop at or what types of layouts you like to use, in your signature a link to a crafting store would probably do really well.

The Best Place to Put an Affiliate Link

In my opinion, the best place to put an affiliate link is on your own website.

If you have your own website, you can talk about the store (or product, depending on what you’re promoting), and then put your affiliate link right on your website.

Anytime someone comes to your site, reads the post and clicks on the link, you have a chance of making money.

And since it’s your own site, you can post as much as you want…and talk about whatever you want!

This is the only place in the process that you will have to spend money, if you don’t already have a website and want one.

The good thing is that you don’t have to spend much. If you don’t have a domain or hosting account, you can use something like Bluehost (of course this is an affiliate link!) where you will not only get hosting for about $4.95 a month, but will also get your first domain free.

I use Bluehost for some of my websites, so I know they are easy to use, and have good customer service. That’s why I recommend them….well, that and they are so cheap!

If you have your own website, especially when it’s all on one topic…you’ll be able to grow an audience, and hopefully get even more people to click your affiliate links and purchase even more from you.

Plus, if you have good content on your site, you’ll have search engines sending you traffic. That gives you a chance for a much bigger audience than just people you send emails to or people you interact with on social media sites or forums.
