Notification Bar Plugin: Easily Create Opt-Ins, Links to Posts, Timers, and More

I love when technology can make things really easy, so that I can easily get attention to whatever I want to focus on with just a few clicks of a button.

If you’re looking for a way to get content on your site noticed, take a look at the WP Notification Bar Plugin.

I bought it last week, and have already started using it on a few of my sites. Shortly I’ll be adding it to others, because I really like it.

What the plugin does, is add a bar to the top or bottom of your screen.

You can choose the color of the bar, so it’ll match with whatever you want it to.

Here are just a few of the things you can do with the bar:

Put an opt-in, so that you’ll have a way to get people to sign up to your list on every page.
Have a countdown timer, so that you can stress that the reader needs to take action now.
Have a link to a specific post, if you think everyone should make sure they read what is on that page.
Have a search bar, to make it easy for people to find things on your site.
Put social media buttons, so people can easily find your social media accounts.

What I love best about the notification bar is that its very easy to customize.

If you want the bar to show up on your entire site, that’s not a problem.

If you want it to be on only some posts or pages, that’s not a problem either.

And if you want to show one type of notification bar on some pages and another notification bar on others, you can easily do that too.

Just from looking at the customization page itself, you’ll figure out exactly what to do in order to get the look that you want.

Most likely the hardest part will be deciding what you want the background color to be!

Udimi: Where to Buy Solo Ads

I recently posted about Udimi (a solo ad website), and how I thought it was great.

I talked about how it’s free to sign up, and that you can then find great solo ads to buy.

I also mentioned that I’m getting great opt-in rates, and the sellers almost always over deliver, giving me more clicks than I paid for.

What I didn’t mention though, are a few things you might be interested in knowing if you’re worried about the types of clicks you’ll get.

Since you don’t know the sellers personally (well, until you’ve worked with them), you may wonder about security, and making sure you’re going to get real clicks for your money.

Udimi: Where I Buy My Solo Ads (Free to Join)

If you’ve never done a solo ad but know that it can greatly grow your list, you may wonder where you can find a company with reputable sellers…and get great results.

That company is Udimi, and I recommend them, and use them myself.

I used to belong to a company called Safe-Swaps, and over the summer they split into 2 pieces, with the solo ads moving over to a website called Udimi.

This was a WONDERFUL thing.

Why? Because Safe-Swaps has a monthly fee (even if you don’t buy any solo ads that month!) and Udimi is completely free to join. You only pay for the solo ads themselves.

If you’re wondering how Udimi can be free and exist, it”s because they charge a tiny commission to cover their own PayPal fees. So you don’t have to worry that because you’re not paying a monthly fee that you’ll have other issues or that it’s not a great system.

I’ve been using the company overall for a few years now, and have been using it as Udimi since July, and have had some great results.

Safe Swaps: Where to Buy Solo Ads, Sell Solo Ad Space, and Swap Ads

If you’re not getting enough traffic to your website, one way to get traffic is to buy solo ads.

You pay by the click, so it doesn’t matter how many emails the person has to send out…they have to send enough that you’ll get the number of clicks you purchased.

You can also make money by sending emails to your own list! So if you have a decent sized list, and want to earn a little extra…this is a great way to do so.
